Neil Warnock To Quit?

Looks like Neil Warnock is enjoying watching his team play! Following our 3-2 win over Crystal Palace at the weekend he said 'It was a fantastic game and a great advert from two of the best teams in the league.'

He added that the Blades deserved the points: 'Over the ninety minutes I think we deserved to win although we had to survive one or two scares. We looked a good side today, composed, but also with a never say die spirit when we had to with tackles and blocks going in to keep us in front. That typifies the side, they don't accept second best.'

Warnock also says he has been talking with the board to extend his six year stay at Utd. Warnock is out of contract in the summer, so the board had better hurry up, especially as the boss is planning to quit in three years time!

'I've been talking with the directors about the squad more than myself lately, but I'm sure it will soon be resolved. It's not something that is worrying me. I'm planning to keep going for another three years. I can't see my contract being a problem, but it doesn't help when talking to players about their future.'

Seems to put pay to the rumours and stories being circulated in the press that Warnock will walk out if the board don't offer him the contract he is asking for!
