'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ched's You Win, Wales You Lose.

Ched Evans has been given added responsibility for tonight's friendly at the Liberty Stadium, as he replaces national team skipper Craig Bellamy up front.

Just months before the European 2012 qualifying campaign begins, John Toshack is experimenting with his squad, and opting for youth in attack for tonight's game.

Evans is likely to partner Reading's Simon Church up front, who netted against Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend.

Elsewhere, former Blade Ahmed Fathi will be back in England, as the Egyptian, an integral part of their African Cup of Nations victory is expected to start in midfield tonight for the friendly at Wembley.

Blades defender Toni Kallio could feature for Finland in Malta, a game that could see Justin Haber begin in goal, and Barnsley forward Daniel Bogdanovic in attack.

Finally, on the Under-21 scene, former Blade Kyle Walker, who was recalled by Tottenham Hotspur recently will get his debut tonight, as he starts the European Championship 2011 qualifier against Greece at the Keepmoat Stadium. Fellow Spurs full-back Kyle Naughton, now on-loan at Middlesborough has missed out on Stuart Pearce's final 18 man squad.
