Blades Close In On Boggy Deal

Sheffield United confirmed their interest in Barnsley striker Daniel Bogdanovic.

The striker, who is out of contract this summer had already signed for the Blades if reports were to be believed yesterday, but a statement on the website claimed that these reports were premature.

However, the club did confirm they were in talks, and it's thought that the deal should be done within days.

The Maltese international has reportedly undergone a medical at Bramall Lane, and his move could be confirmed before the end of the week.

Never mind Boggy.....I am DELIGHTED that United have signed Chris Morgan up for 3 more years, best news of the close season so far. Lots of speculation that Tongy is coming back.

Not Alfie. I've spent all year watching him, and he just doesn't work hard enough for the Championship. He isn't as good as Sharp in the area, but he does have that little bit more pace over 15 yards. He'd work the channels well too which would be a bonus, but it would be a massive gamble. More so than Ward.

Sheps, is he a gamble worth taking? Presumably if Boggy arrives and Sharp is back along with Hendo (?) & Cresswell that would sort out the strikers.

tongey is a flair player something we have missed for several seasons. sheps is spot on,,,,,he's so annoying and lazy but i don't care if he stands still for 89 mins and cracks one in from 25 yards in the last minute.

well he wouldn't be on that if he came back to the lane gleadless so i wouldn't get too concerned on his wages at stoke. he would be a welcomed addition to the midfield and he knows the club inside out.
