Blades Looking to Continue Good Fortune

Blades Looking to Continue Good Fortune

Not since 1993 have Sheffield United lost to Yorkshire rivals Leeds, and the Blades will be hoping that this good fortune continues at the weekend.

It will be a return to Elland Road for Gary Speed, who is still held in high regard there from his playing days, and is sure to receive the most positive reaction of any previous Blades boss.

However, once the formalities are over, it's the actions on the field that will matter to the travelling Blades faithful, as Speed looks to build on the victory over Portsmouth last week.

Nyron Nosworthy is expected to replace the injured Chris Morgan in United's only change, and new signing Richard Wright should take up a position on the bench.

For the home side, new signing George McCartney should start in the problem left-back area.

Lots of talk about Speed bringing in Richie De Laet on a 3 month loan from Man U. Fergie bought him in from Stoke in 2009, Belgum International, only played a hand full of first team games, but is said to be highly rated at Old Trafford. He is 21 yrs old, 6ft 1" and can play anywhere along the back four.

Shocking today, set off with the intentions of getting a draw, and didnt evn get that!!!! Cressy,Evans, and Monty very poor today. Only good thing about today was the Fantastic support, they really dont deserve it at times.

Forget about the support, what is important is we have only scored 4 goals in 8 games, now that is worrying !
