Quinn Set To Miss Palace Clash

Sheffield United will be without midfielder Stephen Quinn for Saturday's visit of Crystal Palace due to 'personal issues.'

Quinn, who also sat out last week's victory at Millwall has been granted permission by manager Gary Speed to forgo his second successive fixture.

Quinn had recently been enjoying a run in the team, even notching his first goal in the defeat at home to Ipswich Town, in front of his onlooking family.

However, the Irish midfielder will not be in action for the televised contest, and a return date hasn't yet been announced, neither have the reasons surrounding his omission.
