Blades duo up for awards

Sheffield United's unbeaten run in league one might have come to an end recently but up to, and including October, this was still the case.

As such performances of manager Danny Wilson and teenager keeper George Long have brought them praise.

It's not just praise they have gained the pair are in contention to be named the league one manager and player of the month for October.

Wilson competes with Joe Dunne (Colchester) and Paul Dickov (Oldham) for the manager award with Long competing with Craig Eastmond (Colchester) and Jose Baxter (Oldham) for his player award.
