Sheff Utd v Crawley Match Postponed

The official site has announced:

Tonight's npower League One game against Crawley Town is off. The Bramall Lane pitch failed a 1pm pitch inspection.

Local referee Anthony Tankard conducted the pitch inspection, watched by Crawley boss Richie Barker and Blades groundsman, Glenn Nortcliffe.

Apparently their is more poor weather due but also the snow that has fallen is thawing and making the pitch waterlogged.

The official said that the players safety was the main consideration.

A new date will be fixed shortly and tickets you have purchased for tonight's game will be valid (or you can return for a refund obviously)
