Bournemouth v Blades - They Have Met Before

Vital Sheffield United looks at how the Blades have done at Bournemouth in their previous meetings on the south coast over the years.

Saturday will be only the seventh ever meeting at Bournemouth. Sheffield United have a great record at Bournemouth, winning four and drawing two of the six meetings.

The first meeting came during the 1981/82 season when the game finished goalless and the score was the same when they met the following season.

Bournemouth have only scored on one of the six meetings in a 2-1 defeat in the 1987/88 season.

The last time they met was last season when United won 2-0 thanks to two own goals.
