SUFC Blades to return to winning ways?

Sheffield United travel to Boundary Park this afternoon to face Oldham Athletic looking to cement their place in the automatic promotion places in League One.

United slipped to second place in the division in midweek when Leyton Orient held them to a goalless draw at home. The draw was their first dropped points in five games and they will be looking to get back to winning ways this afternoon.

Bookmakers PaddyPower make United 5/4 favourites to claim the three points.

Oldham Athletic can now concentrate on avoiding relegation from League One after their exploits in the FA Cup finally came to an end in midweek with defeat at Everton. The Latics are currently under the temporary management of former blades striker Tony Philliskirk and he will be hoping to put one over on his former club. Oldham are 19/10 to claim the three points and it is 12/5 on the draw.

Giant striker Matt Smith scored a dramatic late equaliser when the two sides met at Bramall Lane earlier in the season and he is 13/2 to add to the eight goals he has already scored this season by scoring the first goal this afternoon.

On loan striker Chris Iwelumo has netted just once signing joining on loan from Watford in January and he is 13/2 to score the first goal this afternoon.

United striker Dave Kitson is now just one goal short of double figures for the season and he is 5/1 to score the opener this afternoon.

Defender Harry Maguire has chipped in with five goals this season already and he is 33/1 to open the scoring.
