'If It's Football, It's Vital'

SUFC Young keeper in England squad

Young Sheffield United goalkeeper George Willis has been called up for the England under 19`s for their game with Turkey later this month.

England play Turkey at The New Bucks Head Stadium, AFC Telford United on Thursday March 21st and it is their final friendly before starting their European qualifiers in a bid to reach this summer`s finals in Lithuania.

Willis made his England debut in September in their 1-0 win friendly win over Faroe Islands and it continues a great season for the blades young shot-stopper.

Willis has already been included in the United squad this season as back up to George Long following the injury to Mark Howard.

The youngster is also on the shortlist of three players for the Football League apprentice of the year, with the winner being announced at the Football League awards dinner on March 24th.
