Three different favourites on busy betting day

The betting market to find the next Sheffield United manager as seen three new favourites today.

Long-time favourite Karl Robinson started the day as favourite for the job with SkyBet. The MK Dons boss has said today that he is going to meet with his agent this week to discuss his future.

Former Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate replaced Robinson as favourite later in the day.

Southgate has been working for ITV as a pundit since his dismissal at Middlesbrough in 2009.

He was quickly replaced as favourite, following the announcement that the club have approached Motherwell about Stuart McCall, the former player and coach is now odds on favourite for the position.

Lets appoint Tony Pullis, at least he would get us out of this division, I don't care how we do it? Interesting thought!!!!!

Now I know football has gone mad. I have never been a Pulis fan, especially in his pre Stoke days when his teams played a particularly horrible brand of route one football, but I am full of admiration for the way he has kept Stoke in the Premiership for 8 years, gradually improving the squad with some decent buys. He would certainly get us out of div 3 but I'm sure he wont be out of work for very long, he will get another prem or championship job very quickly.

Sounds like McCall is top of the wanted list, he'll do nicely. Knows the club set up, he would settle in quickly. He also knows players in the scotish leagues which would be a real bonus. I do hope Morgs stays on the coaching staff, I would hate to see his leadership and commitment leave BDTBL.

Agent MEGSON is on his way

McCall did nothing at Bradford, left before he got the bullet, Scottish pub League with Motherwell, Not so sure if he could cope with the present crop of players we have!

Perhaps its all about maturity, micksilver.

I think we will see a much changed side come the start of the season.

I certainly hope so, S2. One of the most amazing stats from last season was SUFC top of the fouls league for the division. I cant remember ONE game our 'experienced' players played with passion for 90 minutes.
