SUFC Who will United draw in the cup?

The Capital One League Cup First Round will be announced on Monday morning with Sheffield United in the draw.

United have a poor record in recent seasons, going out in the first round in three of the last four seasons to lower league opposition.

They have also made an habit of drawing the same team two seasons in a row, so Sheffield United v Burton Albion could come out of the hat. In the previous four seasons, United drew Port Vale and then Hartlepool United two years in a row.

If the blades were to get Burton, they would be looking for revenge having lost to the brewers in the first round at Bramall Lane last season on penalties.

So who do you fancy in the first round?

Are you hoping for a home draw or would you like a trip to a good old-fashioned football ground in the lower leagues of the Football League.

Unseeded clubs
Accrington Stanley, Bradford City, Burton Albion, Bury, Carlisle United, Chesterfield, Fleetwood Town, Hartlepool United, Mansfield Town, Morecambe, Oldham Athletic, Port Vale, Preston North End, Rochdale, Rotherham United, Scunthorpe United, Shrewsbury Town, York City.

The draw will be announced at 9.30am on Monday morning.
