SUFC Weir delighted to have signings in

Sheffield United boss David Weir says he is delighted after signing four players on a busy day at Bramall Lane.

Weir has brought in Febian Brandy, Stephen McGinn, Sean McGinty and Jasper Johns as he looks to build a squad capable of winning promotion from League One next season.

The four signings are his first since taking over as manager at Bramall Lane earlier this month and the former Everton development squad assistant manager says he is delighted to have the players in ahead of pre-season training.

Speaking on the official website , Weir said, 'We are delighted that deals for all four of the lads have been completed in time for them to start pre-season training with the rest of the squad and we are confident that we can develop their talents, individually and collectively, for the benefit of Sheffield United.'

The players return for pre-season training next week ahead of the new season starting on August 2nd with a live televised clash against Notts County at Bramall Lane.

Apart from Brandy, the other came totally out of the blue. McGinn was a cracking player at Watford until he had a bad injury.
