SUFC Taylor has still got blades future

Sheffield United boss Nigel Clough says Lyle Taylor still remains part of his long-term plans despite going out on loan for the remainder of the season.

Taylor has joined Scottish Premier League side Partick Thistle on loan after struggling since moving south of the border from Falkirk in the summer.

Speaking on BBC Radio Sheffield, Clough said, "He has gone back up north to try to rediscover his goalscoring touch.

"He has only scored in one game this season, so it gives him a chance to find his form."

He joined the blades in the summer on a two-year deal after netting 29 goals for Falkirk last season in the Scottish First Division.

Taylor has netted just two goals in twenty-five appearances for the blades this season with them both coming in the same game against Coventry City.

interesting to see how he does back in Scotland. I thought the goals against Coventry would get him going.
