 Blades through after another dramatic shoot-out

Sheffield United booked their place in the FA Youth Cup fifth round with a dramatic penalty shoot-out win at Millwall.

The blades won on penalties 8-7 after the game had finished 2-2, with United coming from 2-0 down.

Louis Reed won the penalty shoot-out for United as he netted after twenty penalties.

Millwall raced into a 2-0 first half lead. Kyron Farrell beat Eastwood with a long-range effort before Ben Thompson doubled the lead from a free-kick.

United introduced Diego De Girolamo at the start of the second half and he helped the blades quickly got back into the game. Eyre pulled a goal back within ten minutes of the restart and they were level ten minutes later when Whitman equalised from the penalty spot after a foul on Eyre.

Eyre almost won the game late on for United but he fired wide after getting in behind the Millwall defence.

In a tight and tense extra-time, Tomi Adeloye and Kris Twardek came closest to scoring for Millwall but the game ended as the blades went to penalties for the third time in four rounds.
