Another Scalp

From defeat on Saturday, to a hard earned victory over Fulham last night, it makes you wonder how we aren`t storming up league one!

What a game though. I couldn`t see it, as it wasn`t being broadcast on British Forces TV, but 5 live was being streamed on BFBS Radio, so I was glued to that for the whole match.

It sounded as though we had a stack of chances, and really pushed for the win. We`ll have to wait and see who we come up against after the Forest/Preston match this evening. I fancy Preston out of those two though.

You could hear the great support that was taken to Craven Cottage as well - I was listening to the constant singing from the away Blades, which would have been giving the team the confidence to push on. When Miller scored the winner at the death, I had been sitting biting my nails hoping for it not to go to penalties, which we don`t usually do very well at. You could have heard my shout when he popped in the winner, must have woken most people up on the ship!

Good result though, and hopefully we can get this across to our league matches now, starting with Shrewsbury at BDTBL this Saturday.

So, my article this week has been positive for once! The only negativity I can bring from last night was from the two commentators at 5 Live. They were constantly moaning about the standard of football being played, and did admit in the end that they were directing their points to Fulham. We played well, scalped another Premiership team, and progressed to the next round! They should realise that there`s two teams playing on the field!

Anyway, I`ll be glued to the results coming in on Saturday, and crossing my fingers for a win, and hopefully a good run of results now.

UTB!

Amazing how they can do it in the cup and not in the league. Actually quite annoying
