SUFC Baxter strike in running for FL goal of 2013

SUFC Baxter strike in running for FL goal of 2013

Sheffield United striker Jose Baxter will find out on Saturday whether his goal against Oldham Athletic will make the shortlist of ten for the Football League goal of 2013.

All 72 clubs in the Football League were asked to pick their goal of 2013 and the blades chose the goal scored by Baxter against his former club Oldham over the festive period when he fired home a stunning free-kick.

Sky Sports` Soccer AM will show the top ten on their programme on Saturday morning from 10am.

Fans will then be asked to vote on the top ten as they reduce the field to five ahead of the Football League awards dinner on March 16th, when the winner will be announced.

You can see all the goals on the Football League website
