A stirring second half team performance saw United turn around a half time deficit to beat Forest 3-1 and inflict a first defeat on the championship promotion chasers since November.

Jamie Murphy - I think he has been a different player since the arrival of Clough. I thought he could have been on his way a few months ago but he looks like a new player now.

Agreed, Murphy by a mile. His wing play frightened Forest all afternoon. Great to see two wingers working, but playing Baxter up front doesn't work with the keeper kicking long.

Howards saves were important, and his defence looked more assured with his command of his box. He handled well and caught rather than punched. Long will benefit from the rest, but I hope he is learning from watching the experienced keeper bossing his box and talking to his back four.
