SUFC Blades sign Derby youngster

Sheffield United have signed Derby County defender Keiron Freeman on loan.

Freeman joins up with blades boss Nigel Clough for a second time having signed for him at Derby in the summer of 2012 and he was a regular in their side this season until the dismissal of Clough.

He hasn`t featured for Derby since Clough left and he has spent the past four months on loan with Notts County where he made 17 appearances.

The 21-year-old has joined United on loan until April 5th and he is eligible for the FA Cup game with Charlton Athletic this weekend.

This signing tells me that Brayford is going to be out for a while.
