Who was your Sheffield United Man of the Match?

Sheffield United booked their place in the semi-final of the FA Cup and it is very hard to single out one player after a fantastic team performance against Charlton Athletic.

The blades won thanks to two second half goals from Ryan Flynn and John Brayford as the side made it a club record nine consecutive wins in all competitions.

Mark Howard made it an eighth clean sheet in nine games since his return to the side and his back four, who hardly gave Charlton a sniff of goal all afternoon, ably assisted him. Neil Collins and Harry Maguire never put a foot wrong in the middle of the defence whilst John Brayford and Bob Harris proved as good in attack as they were at the back.

The midfield once again performed around Mike Doyle whom was the linchpin allowing Stefan Scougall, Ryan Flynn and Jamie Murphy to attack the Charlton back line. Conor Coady was again powerful in midfield and Jose Baxter worked tirelessly in attack.

So can you pick out an individual? If so, then let us know your man of the match in our latest poll.

Really difficult after a great team performance. Both wingers were a constant threat and Maguire, as well as defending, had a couple of marauding runs into their half. I would probably give it to Maguire. You can see why the defence is so solid with him and Collins in the centre.

can't look beyond doyle, his work rate and leadership fantastic again.

Maguire and Collins have to be the best centre half pairing in this, and probably the division higher. Both took the eye yesterday, as did both wingers who are playing with heads up and bags of confidence. Brayford is much too good for this league, lets hope he is enjoying his time at BDTBL and NC can find the funding to try and persuade him to stay. Keeping him, Coady and Davies will be key to our push next season. Little Scougall will be a fantastic asset now he is adjusting to this league. Once again, I agree with Bilbo, Doyle was captain fantastic, but the fans need to start watching what he does more closely. After the daft sending off against Fulham, he is a different player, clearly NC has had a chat about his future! Brandy obviously wasn't listening to hard when NC spoke to him!
