SUFC Young midfielder goes out on loan

Young Sheffield United midfielder Elliott Whitehouse has joined non-league Alfreton Town on loan.

The 20-year-old product of the Sheffield United youth set up has joined the Skrill Conference Premier Division promotion chasers on loan for the remainder of the season.

Whitehouse has made five appearances for United since making his debut in January 2013. He hasn`t played for the blades this season but he enjoyed a successful loan spell at York City earlier this season where he made 18 appearances.

Whitehouse becomes the third player to go out on loan in the last 24-hours joining Callum McFadzean and Shaun Miller in agreeing loan deals for the remainder of the season.
