Taylor-Made For Scunny?

Taylor-Made For Scunny?

A spell with Sheffield United for Lyle Taylor hasn't really worked out for all concerned has it? If reports are correct he could be set for a move to league 1 rivals Scunthorpe United.

The Scunthorpe Telegraph is saying that they 'understand' that the striker will be announced as a signing early next week with Scunthorpe confirming that they've been 'negotiating with several players and an agreement was close to bring reached with one', with this one thought to be Taylor.

Nothing official either end has yet come out though.

Sheffield United signed the striker on a two-year contract last season with an impressive record of 29-goals in 34-appearances for Falkirk in the 2012/2013 season seeing him brought to Bramall Lane, however he struggled to make an impact under Nigel Clough and he allowed him to end the season on loan back in Scotland with Partick Thistle.

It's probably best for all concerned that Taylor does move on, it will be hoped that if he does he doesn't start doing what he was brought to Bramall Lane for though!
