Clough Not Too Disappointed By Defeat

Put to him that he would not give 'two hoots' as to the scoreline, following Sheffield United's four-nil defeat at Burton Albion, Nigel Clough made it clear the club 'does not like losing', especially by four-goals to nil!

The game at the Pirelli Stadium was about more than the result though with him saying, having fielded two different sides in each half, that he felt his XI's 'were balanced' but it turned that that Burton first choice side field was 'a bit too much' for some of the side with two or three youngsters used in that first half.

No injuries was the main thing for him though from 'a good run out' to start pre-season; with hindsight perhaps a side up to Burton's ability was not a wise choice and the Blades boss feels that perhaps a non-league outfit would have been better?

This YouTube 'video snippet' from Clough's official website interview gives an insight into these thoughts.
