Blades legend Brian Deane has sensationally returned to Bramall Lane for a THIRD spell with United.
The 37-year-old striker has most recently been playing his trade in down-under with Australian A-League side Perth Glory. That spell came to an end though after Manager Steve McMahon, the former Liverpool midfielder who brought Deane to the club, was sacked.
'Deano' has agreed to sign a deal in January until the end of the season and Blades manager Neil Warnock has confirmed that the chance to sign Deane was too good to turn down, and he is still in the hunt for another striker: 'If we do sign another striker in January, we feel that Brian, especially with his affinity to the club, will be useful to have around until the end of the season.' he told the official website.
