April MotM Nomination - Wilder (Sheff Utd)

April MotM Nomination - Wilder (Sheff Utd)

The April nominations for the Sky Bet League 1 Manager of the Month Award are:

Graham Alexander (Scunthorpe United)

Ended the regular season just as his side began it, with a series of dominant displays and a manager of the month nomination. Five wins out of six did the trick with the Iron clinching third place and a spot in the play-offs as a result.

Stuart McCall (Bradford City)
Guided his side to a haul of 13 points from six games in a month in which Bradford secured their spot in the play-offs. Kept his side superbly focused, especially at home where they collected three wins without conceding a goal.

Uwe Rosler (Fleetwood Town)
Secured a League One play-off place for the first time in the club`s history with a hectic April record of 13 points from seven games. Preaches consistency in performance, something his side maintained in the season`s final month.

Chris Wilder (Sheffield United)
When a side clinches promotion early, they sometimes relax too much. Wilder refused to allow it to happen, setting his title-winning players the target of 100 points. They reached it by winning all six of their April fixtures with a 16-3 goal differential.

Winners will be announced on Friday 5th May 2017.
