United Confirm Summer Friendlies

Sheffield United confirmed their senior domestic pre season schedule the other day.

Earlier in the week it had been announced that Stoke City would be the visitors for our only friendly at Bramall Lane this summer and this is pre season warm up for the coming Championship season.

The friendly games open as they did last summer with a fixture against Stocksbridge Park Steels at the Look Local Stadium on Saturday July 8.

The United first team will be abroad in the week following this fixture and plans are we'll play one game out on foreign soil but that remains to be confirmed.

When we return we face Chesterfield at the Proact Stadium on Tuesday July 18 and will then head to the New York Stadium on Friday July 21 to face Rotherham United.

The final game before our opening Championship fixture will be Eastleigh FC at Ten Acres on Friday July 28.

Ticket details for all the games are yet to be confirmed.
