Vital View - Championship - 23rd-24th September 2017
The Championship season continued with the latest round of games played over the weekend.
Brentford moved out of the bottom three with a convincing win at Bolton - who remain pointless and at the foot of the table - whereas Birmingham are still second bottom despite a point at Derby.
Leeds recovered from a first defeat after a five goal thriller at Elland Road against Ipswich. Meanwhile, Cardiff sit just above the Whites after a win over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light - the Black Cats slipped into the relegation zone.
The three-way lead at the top is shared by Wolves after a dramatic win at Molineux against Barnsley.
Saturday's late kick off saw Aston Villa continue to climb the table, whereas Nottingham Forest are dropping down it following Villa's 2-1 victory at Villa Park.
Finally, Sheffield United's win at Hillsborough against rivals Sheffield Wednesday, on Sunday, means the Blades are in fourth and just two points off the top with the Owls outside of the play off places in 10th.
