Sheffield United made it three wins in a row with a comprehensive 3-0 win over Colchester United at Bramall Lane.
Barry Robson gave the Blades the perfect start when he fired home from the penalty spot after he was fouled in the area.
Despite dominating the game, United had to wait until the 73rd minute before they doubled their lead. Kevin McDonald collected the ball close to the centre circle before hitting a low shot from 35-yards that crept into the bottom corner.
Dave Kitson finished the scoring off when he tapped in from close range deep into injury time.
The win for Sheffield United also moves them back into the automatic promotion places and they are just one point behind Bournemouth, who suffered a surprise 2-0 defeat at Preston North End.
Sheffield United travel to Bournemouth next Saturday.
