Sheffield United secured a crucial three points thanks to a late own goal at Bristol City.

The blades came into the game on the back of back-to-back defeats and desperately needed something at their fellow strugglers.

A resolute defensive display earned United the three points and they won the game with just 13 minutes remaining when Aden Flint turned Tony McMahon`s cross into his own net.

The win for the blades lifts them up to twenty-first in the League One table.

Couldn't see this coming. Didn't sound pretty but three points by any means at the moment are massive.

at last. don't care how they come, 3 away points and a clean sheet is encouraging. Harrys 5th yellow so early in the season shows the pressure the defense has been under. Opportunity now on Tuesday to climb away from the bottom 4 and the pressure.

Big gate for City, must have been discounted tickets....my closest game to home and I missed it, still, the beach in Florida was some compensation! Good luck on Tuesday boys.
